This hands-on masterclass is designed to enhance the skills necessary for effective visual storytelling, enabling participants to engage audiences and communicate with greater impact. In the current digital landscape, visual media has emerged as a dominant form of information and entertainment. The course focuses on the creation of visually compelling narratives that have the potential to reach large audiences quickly and cost-effectively. Participants will learn to craft content that elevates their brand and promotes meaningful interaction with their audiences.

Masterclass Schedule: 12 – 13 February 2025
Session One: This introductory session covers essential skills and principles for creating visual media. Participants learn how to plan productions, develop storylines, and utilize cameras and lighting for effective storytelling.
Session Two: Participants engage in practical exercises within a studio setting, honing their skills with guidance from the instructor and a production assistant, while deepening their understanding of key concepts.
Session Three: Participants complete filming their visual stories and embark on the editing process, being introduced to essential post-production tools.
Session Four: Finalized visual stories are screened, allowing participants to gain and provide professional feedback on the work produced.

Refund Policy:
Cancellations can be transferred to a future masterclass instead of receiving a refund. If fees differ for future courses, participants will either pay the difference or receive a refund for the excess amount.
A 15% discount is available for employees of Qatar Foundation and universities in Education City, as well as EC alumni. Attendance of at least 90% is required for participants to receive a certificate of completion.
