Koto Class in the Heart of Kyoto

This unique koto class offers participants an opportunity to immerse in the cultural heritage of Kyoto. Held at the picturesque Gojo Paradiso 五条パラディソ, the class provides instruction from an experienced teacher. It is designed for beginners, ensuring that even those with no prior musical experience can learn to play the koto. Attendees will be guided to master a song while enjoying a fun and interactive atmosphere. This session promises to create memorable connections with Japan’s musical traditions.

Reservations are required by the day before the class. The session lasts 90 minutes, starting promptly on time. Late attendees may be admitted but must be aware that the workshop maintains its schedule. Refunds are not available once a reservation is confirmed, as seats are reserved. Private lessons are also offered, and inquiries about pricing and details are welcomed. Children aged 10 and above can join, with younger children permitted if they do not disrupt the workshop. Any distractions may lead to the child and guardian needing to leave at their own cost.
