Welcome to the Final Seminar on Energy Efficiency in the Seafood Industry
This seminar, in collaboration with Sintef Ocean, Sintef Energi, and Entro, marks the conclusion of the project “Potential for Energy Efficiency in the Seafood Industry” – PEIS.
Participants will gain unique insights into:
- Best practices for energy-efficient operations across the seafood sectors
- Specific measures for energy savings, including cost and savings calculations
- How to replace fossil fuels with renewable energy alternatives
- Recommendations and roadmaps for future actions

- Project results from the whitefish and shrimp sector presented by Tom Ståle Nordtvedt, SINTEF Ocean.
- Project results from the pelagic sector by Kristina N. Widell, SINTEF Ocean.
- Energy efficiency – General measures and lessons learned across sectors by Marco Bless, SINTEF Energi.
- TBD – Presented by Morten Lunde, ENTRO.
