TCG and Fighting Game Areas: Explore our brand new entertainment zones and dive into the fascinating world of card games and fighting games. Whether you're a curious beginner or an experienced pro, you’ll find your unique challenge here. Participate in official tournaments, showcase your skills, and experience thrilling duels with others. All LAN participants have access to these entertainment zones.

What is a LAN party? A LAN party is an event where gamers set up their PCs or consoles in a hall and play games together. In addition to tournaments, there are amenities like a kitchen, bar, relaxation areas, and showers. Why attend a LAN? In the past, LAN parties were the only way to play together. Today, they are popular mainly for the social aspect: to meet friends, participate in tournaments, and share experiences. What makes gamescom LAN unique? It unites the gaming community with prominent German-speaking influencers and offers a unique experience where the joy of gaming is the focus—not just competition.

Can I attend? The minimum age is 18. No exceptions can be made, even with permission from a guardian. Can I relax on-site? The Relax Ticket reserves a spot for you in the relaxation hall. You bring a sleeping mat and sleeping bag and can choose a spot for your rest periods. Showers and personal care facilities are available on-site—don't forget to bring towels and hygiene items. What should I bring? Naturally, your computer, monitor, and peripherals. Don't forget fresh clothes, hygiene items, and money. If you have a Relax Ticket, bring your sleeping bag and sleeping mat as well.

We provide you with a seating area, chair, desk, LAN cable, and three power outlets.

Directions: By car: The Cologne motorway ring leads without intersections or traffic lights to the exhibition grounds. The Barmerstraße leads directly to Hall 2 and the LAN entrance.

By public transport: The public transport stops are located within walking distance to the LAN entrance at Barmerstraße in front of Hall 2: S-Bahn “Köln Messe/Deutz.” Parking: There are plenty of paid parking spaces available in the immediate vicinity of the exhibition halls.
