This weekend in Yaletown, a series of Gong Sound Baths will take place, featuring six sessions over two days. Saturday will host sessions at 11 AM, 3 PM, and 7 PM, while Sunday will offer sessions at 10 AM, 2 PM, and 6 PM.
----------------------------------------
Participants are invited to engage in an immersive Gong Sound Meditation experience. The sessions will start with participants setting their intentions, followed by a powerful guided breathwork practice designed to calm the nervous system.
Next, a brief monochord meditation will enhance relaxation. During this meditation, the 33-string OM Monochord will be played, producing a soothing range of overtones that uplift spirits while promoting relaxation.
Following this, attendees will be enveloped in the profound vibrations of a gong bath. The session will prominently feature a 38-inch Pure Titanium Sun Dance Gong and a 38-inch Paiste Planetary Sun Gong, along with a unique 32-inch Spiral Sufi Ammonite Gong and a 34-inch Blue Moon Gong, all contributing to a rich sound experience that facilitates deep relaxation and inner exploration.
Facilitators aim to create a safe and relaxing atmosphere for all participants to explore their inner space throughout this sound and vibrational journey.
What to bring? Nothing - The Studio provides everything needed for the session, such as yoga mats, head pillows, blankets, back support cushions, blocks, water, and tea. Comfortable clothing is recommended.
