On Sunday, December 8th, from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM, there will be a presentation by Valérie Eguchi, a painter and founder of Pigments and Arts of the World. She will explore the traditional Japanese painting style known as nihonga, which was brought from China to Japan along the Silk Road with Buddhism in the 7th century. Nihonga began to develop into its current form by the end of the 8th century, with the term itself being coined in the 19th century.
