Dr. Peter Magee, who serves as the Director of the Zayed National Museum, possesses a wealth of experience gained from overseeing cultural heritage initiatives in the Middle East since 1994. As a respected academic with over 70 publications on the history and archaeology of the Arabian Gulf, he has received the prestigious Sheikh Mubarak bin Mohamed Award and has been chosen as a Fellow of The Society of Antiquaries.
Accompanying him is Dr. Mansour Radwan, a specialist in archaeology at Dubai Culture’s Antiquities Section, recognized for his extensive experience managing excavations in Egypt and his significant input in archaeological studies in the UAE and its neighboring regions.
