This event features two forward-thinking architectural practices, L Architects and A Solid Plan. Founders Ar Lim Shing Hui and Ar Wong Ker How will provide insights into the intricate art of crafting homes that capture the essence of their clients' lives and narratives. Attendees will have the chance to engage in discussions about the profound relationship between architecture and the human experience, focusing on creating spaces that foster well-being and individuality. Ar. Lim Shing Hui / L Architects
Shing Hui, the founder and Design Principal of L Architects, leads an interdisciplinary practice located in Singapore. After earning her Master of Architecture from the National University of Singapore, she built her professional foundation at MKPL Architects. As a registered architect since 2014, Shing Hui has received multiple accolades, including three awards at the 2022 SIA Architectural Design Awards, which propelled her firm into the spotlight. Among her achievements is House of Parts, which won another design award in the latest prestigious SIA Architectural Awards. Shing Hui's work often reflects her curiosity and commitment to integrating nature, infusing simplicity and meaningful concepts into each of her architectural endeavors.
Ar. Wong Ker How / A Solid Plan
Ker How is dedicated to creating designs that originate from well-structured plans, characterized by craftsmanship, environmental sensibility, and unique experiences. After acquiring his Master of Architecture from the National University of Singapore, he gained diverse experience at various prominent architectural firms including Zarch Collaboratives and DP Architects. In addition to projects in Singapore, he has worked internationally on a golf course resort in Southern China and collaborated on a mixed-use development in Sri Lanka, receiving several design accolades along the way. Ker How is not only a registered architect but also actively contributes to the architectural community as a member of the Singapore Institute of Architects Council and serves as an educator at LASALLE College of the Arts.

Kelley Cheng / The Press Room & Studio SML
Kelley Cheng is a talented figure in the creative industry, combining her architectural training with her role as founder and creative director of The Press Room. She spearheads Studio SML, which showcases Singaporean creatives through an online documentary and archive. As a dedicated educator, she contributes to several academic institutions, holding positions as a visiting professor and lecturer. Her contributions to the field have been recognized with significant awards, including the President's Design Award “Designer of the Year 2020” and the SkillsFuture Fellowship 2021.
