Every Monday, prominent writers, playwrights, and scientists will lead a class on subjects they have been studying and reading about for a long time.
This gathering is an opportunity to kick off the week by listening to the best in the field. This time, Betina González and Esther Cross will explore the theme of occultism through the lens of literature.
Betina González is the author of novels such as Arte menor, Las poseídas, América alucinada (translated into English as American Delirium), and Olimpia. She has also published a collection of short stories titled El amor es una catástrofe natural and an essay book called La obligación de ser genial. González holds a Master's degree in Creative Writing from the University of Texas at El Paso and a Ph.D. in Literature from the University of Pittsburgh. She teaches at the University of Buenos Aires and the Master's program in Writing at the Universidad de Tres de Febrero.
