Book Signing with Frank Margerin 💭
Gibert is excited to host Frank Margerin for the signing of his book Dans les petits papiers de Margerin, released by Robinson Publishing.
Known for his unique humor, Margerin shares over 400 sketches in this work, depicting themes close to his heart: motorcycles, rock and roll, friends, and sports, along with his iconic characters, Lucien and Momo the courier. These “doodles,” as he calls them, were created during phone conversations, capturing his current graphic inspirations or the result of thorough research for his albums. Unearthed from his workshop drawers, these sketches aim to authentically reveal the behind-the-scenes of the artist's work.
Readers are invited to meet the author and leave with a signed copy of the book!
The signing will take place on Wednesday, December 4th at 3 PM in the Gibert BD bookstore, located at 30 Boulevard Saint-Michel.
