On Saturday, December 7, 2024, beginning at 2:00 PM, individuals are invited to participate in a creative workshop focused on crafting natural wreaths perfect for the festivities. This session welcomes adults and older children; however, all participants under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
No prior experience is needed, as the talented staff from the Cornwall Wildlife Trust will guide attendees through the wreath-making process. All necessary materials will be provided, so participants should simply bring their creativity and festive cheer! The workshop will commence with weaving willows into a wreath structure, followed by the addition of greenery to customize each participant's wreath.
Complimentary refreshments will be available throughout the session. Attendees with specific dietary needs are encouraged to communicate these beforehand to ensure suitable options are prepared.
This is a wonderful chance to personalize home decor or craft a meaningful gift for a loved one. Interested individuals should secure their spot soon!
Important Information
The workshop will take place indoors on a single floor with wheelchair access. Accessible restrooms will be provided, and a quiet area will be designated for those needing a break at any time.
Participants are encouraged to use public transport, with the 1:46 PM train from St Austell to Lostwithiel being recommended. The community center is approximately a 5-minute uphill walk from the station.
