Experience a delightful day at Ruakaka Estuary with Experiencing Marine Reserves and Pacific Coast Kayaks, featuring a wonderful Kayak and Snorkel Day. Participants can enjoy guided kayak sessions and snorkeling experiences led by expert volunteer guides. This event promises a fun-filled day for families to learn about the estuary and its vibrant marine life. Donations are appreciated.
Supported by the Wai Connection Program and funded by the Ministry for the Environment, the day includes essential pre-registrations for both activities. The minimum age requirement for kayaking is 7, while snorkelling is for those aged 5 and above. Please note that kayaking and snorkelling sessions are separate and do not depart together.
