Territori diVini reaches its 27th edition, featuring a wine tasting event for solidarity organized by VIS - Volontariato Internazionale per lo Sviluppo, an educational agency and international cooperation entity.
The gathering will take place at the Chiostro di San Tarcisio within the beautiful setting of the Parco delle Catacombe di San Callisto.
This wine tasting aims to promote and support the Palestinian wine Cremisan, named after the hill in the Holy Land where Salesians started a social project for viticulture and wine production in 1896. By supporting this wine, attendees contribute to the Salesian works in the Middle East, especially the vocational training center in Bethlehem.
Four varieties of Cremisan wines will be available for tasting, including the white Hamdani Jandali and Dabouki, the red Baladi, and the rosé Rosè. Additionally, Italian wineries will participate by donating some of their products.
There will be two special stations: the Excellence Station and the ExtraVoglio Oil Station.
During the wine tasting, visitors can also order accompanying dishes.
A project on Global Citizenship Education titled TESTiamoCI per il futuro: TErritori e STudenti per una nuova CIttadinanza ecologica will be showcased, co-financed by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS) and supported by the Eight per Thousand funds of the Italian Buddhist Institute Soka Gakkai.
There will also be a booth featuring fair trade gifts, including artisan products from Palestine and Ethiopia, VIS branded items, honey, and more.
Participation in this gathering will support the activities that VIS conducts worldwide for girls, boys, and youth facing poverty and vulnerability.
