The Metropolitan City of Turin and the Chamber of Commerce, under the framework of Torino Social Impact, welcome the community to join the public meeting titled "Towards the Metropolitan Plan for Social Economy." This initiative is part of a participatory process aimed at drafting the Metropolitan Plan for Social Economy in Turin. The plan seeks to promote a new model of economic development across the metropolis, fostering strong social identity while addressing contemporary challenges through the simultaneous pursuit of economic prosperity, social inclusion, and sustainable development.
The purpose of the meeting is to stimulate collective reflection to establish a shared framework of content regarding objectives, actions, tools, and governance models that will shape the plan. After welcoming remarks from key stakeholders, participants will be divided into five thematic tables focusing on topics identified during the initial phase of the process: 1) Governance, procurement and partnership; 2) Social impact finance; 3) Continuous education and skill development; 4) Physical and digital connections and innovation; 5) Social and labor inclusion. Discussion sessions will be facilitated by experts who will present the outcomes of these discussions in a plenary session. Participants who register for the meeting will receive a "Discussion Guide" in advance to ensure informed conversation.
