KUNST UM 7 is the new art salon in Berlin
The charming boutique hotel in Charlottenburg, near Kurfürstendamm, exudes a typical Berlin flair and serves as the perfect venue for KUNST UM 7 – THE ART SALON.
About the venue:
Hotel Art Nouveau - A beautiful historic building featuring an antique elevator, twenty-one uniquely designed rooms, and three event spaces linked by lovely French doors. Owner Ingo Bethke revitalized the hotel in 2016, showcasing impressive artworks and meticulous attention to detail. In this intimate atmosphere of the traditional Berlin west, around 70 guests are welcomed to the classic rooms on the second floor to discuss art, learn the stories behind the stories, and share experiences with fellow art enthusiasts.
Selected wines and gourmet bites complement these special evenings.
Featured Guest:
Katharina Thalbach - A prominent German character actress and an exceptional talent, Katharina brings a unique authenticity to her roles. She captivates audiences with her readings, filling renowned German stages, including the Hamburg Elbphilharmonie, for several consecutive days.
What many do not know is that art holds a special significance for her: "Art in the broadest sense has always empowered me or helped me out of difficult situations."
Katharina has been collecting art for many years: Who are her favorite artists? What makes a piece special to her? Which works have particularly inspired her and why?
In conversation with Annette Schneider, founder of ART BREAKERS, who has been friends with Katharina for years, they aim to explore these questions and uncover a new, previously unknown side of this remarkable artist in an intimate setting.
KUNST UM 7 is a collaborative initiative involving Hotel Art Nouveau and Kunstleben Berlin.
They look forward to welcoming guests!
