WHAT IS A WALK?
The idea is straightforward: Up to two aspiring women can join a remarkable female mentor for an engaging hour of walking and conversation around Queens Domain. This setting provides a nurturing environment to explore career advancement, address work-related concerns, brainstorm solutions to challenges, and cultivate meaningful connections, catering to various career discussions suitable for all professional stages.

IMPORTANT DETAILS:
WHAT HAPPENS BEFORE THE WALK?
Participants will be matched with their mentors and walking group based on their registration information. They will receive reminders via emails or texts, informing them of any weather conditions.
WHAT TO EXPECT ON ARRIVAL?
Local Coordinators will greet participants and introduce them to their mentors. While waiting, participants have the opportunity to mingle with other mentees and mentors. A brief welcome introduction will take place, explaining the walk's format.
DURING THE WALK:
The group strolls together for an hour, with mentors guiding the discussion and ensuring every mentee has the opportunity to share their questions and challenges. This interactive dialogue is where powerful insights emerge.
END OF THE WALK:
At 1:30 PM, participants regroup at the starting point. They are encouraged to network, exchange contact information, share their experiences, and take photos. Engaging on social media is also encouraged for broader community visibility.
WHEN IS THE NEXT WALK?
The program operates in Hobart six times a year, allowing participants to walk multiple times with different mentors and groups to gain varied perspectives, continually meet new women who can support their journey.
