The Saturday workshops provide an opportunity to enjoy the pleasures of cooking and connection at a leisurely pace. Participants will collaborate in small groups, guided by expert chefs who impart their culinary knowledge and insights into West African culture.

Agenda:

  • Welcome and introductions: 10 - 10.15 am

Participants will meet each other and the facilitators.

  • Cultural overview: 10.15 - 10.30 am

Insights into the history and traditions of West African cuisine will be shared.

  • Hands-on cooking: 10.30 - 12.00 pm

Collaboration in groups to prepare a variety of dishes.

  • Sharing and Eating: 12.00 pm - 1.00 pm

Participants will enjoy the delicious dishes they have prepared.

  • Networking Session & Celebratory Dance: 1.00 - 1.30 pm

An opportunity for attendees to share their experiences and connect with one another.
