Artistic Organizations of the South will celebrate the “25th Anniversary Concert of the Bahía Blanca Stable Choir” at the Municipal Theater
As part of the closing agenda for the 2024 Season, the Artistic Organizations of the South, linked to the Cultural Institute of the Province of Buenos Aires, will host a choral concert to mark the anniversary on Friday, December 6, under the direction of Maestro Pedro Garabán.
The Bahía Blanca Stable Choir will conclude its season with the “25th Anniversary Concert” on December 6 at 21:00, held at the Municipal Theater (Alsina 425). This concert is part of the Cultural Institute's programming for the Province of Buenos Aires.
Under the baton of Maestro Pedro Garabán and featuring soloists Belén Jañez (soprano), Luisa Reimers (soprano), Carolina Kincaide (soprano), Cristian Carrero (tenor), and Alfredo Miranda (bass), the concert will include operatic arias and choral pieces accompanied by pianist Maestro Gustavo Gallo. Attendees can enjoy selections from opera works such as “Cavalleria Rusticana” by Pietro Mascagni, “Tosca” by Giacomo Puccini, and “Aida” and “Traviata” by Giuseppe Verdi.
The Artistic Organizations of the South commemorates the 25th anniversary of the Bahía Blanca Stable Choir, coinciding with the closure of the season for this renowned artistic group. Founded on September 1, 1999, under the direction of Danilo Grimoldi with Puccini's "Madama Butterfly," the choir has performed a wide range of lyrical works over the past twenty-five years, including operas, cantatas, oratorios, symphonic-choral works, chamber music, and a cappella repertoire. “With passion and dedication, we remain committed to promoting a vibrant, active, accessible culture of high quality,” stated the Artistic Organizations of the South.
