The neo-classical St. Stephen’s Basilica stands as Hungary's most notable church and a major tourist attraction, ranking as the third highest building in the country. The concert scheduled in this stunning venue features adaptations by Miklos Teleki, renowned as one of Hungary's finest organists. The arias will be sung by Kolos Kováts, an acclaimed concert and oratorio vocalist recognized as one of Hungary's top artists. This performance lasts 70 minutes with no intermission.
Kolos Kováts, the singer for the program, is celebrated for his impressive contributions to the concert and oratorio scene in Hungary and has been honored with prestigious awards including the Liszt Ferenc Prize, the Merit of Art, and the Kossuth Prize.
Additionally, the concert features flute performances by Eleonóra Krusic, a musician who has played with numerous orchestras both in Hungary and internationally over the years.
