The vibrant rivers, diverse flora, and rich landscapes offer a refreshing escape and aid individuals in rediscovering their inner selves. To genuinely appreciate such beauty, one must learn to quiet their mind and tap into the inner reservoir of wisdom.
Attendees are lucky to learn from Drupon Lama Dorje, who hails from a lineage of meditation masters that have imparted meaningful meditation practices for over 2500 years, aimed at enhancing the quality of life.
participants will engage in "The Great Shravasti Meditation", which carefully introduces Shamatha, Vipassana, and Mahamudra meditations, focusing on the profound nature of the mind through Breath Mindfulness.
This unique approach roots itself in the Anapanasati Sutra, as taught by the Buddha, yet is presented through a Vajrayana lens.
Connecting with their breath, participants will be guided through mindfulness exercises involving body, feelings, mind, and phenomena across 16 structured steps.
This straightforward yet profound method is imparted directly by His Holiness Drikung Kyabgön Chetsang Rinpoche and was encouraged to be shared by Lama Dorje in Costa Rica.
They will acquire techniques to align their breath with thoughts and emotions, stabilize their awareness, and explore their subtle, peaceful mind through self-reflection.
This journey will be enhanced with specific Indio-Tibetan yogic breathing practices designed to center the mind and clear inner pathways.
To counter this, the retreat combines structured elements, including thoughtful conversations at the beginning and end, daily yogic breath exercises to prepare for meditation, ongoing Q&A sessions with the Lama, balanced with sufficient silence for deep connection.
Life can often feel overwhelming, with new insights quickly fading. Embracing Noble Silence within a supportive environment, guided by an experienced Tibetan Lama, helps attendees calm their minds and delve deeper into their meditation practice. This ensures that the wisdom acquired becomes integrated into their daily lives, enabling them to approach life's challenges with wisdom and grace.
