Welcome to the premiere of the knowledge film - “When Violence Is Close to You”
The screening will be followed by a panel discussion focusing on the approaches taken to address violence in close relationships. The panel will highlight successful initiatives while also exploring ways to enhance this essential field, emphasizing the power of lived experiences and digital knowledge for the future.
This engaging knowledge film provides insights into various forms of violence in intimate relationships through the lived experiences of individuals such as Marius, Sogra, Kari Maritza, Siv Anne, Christina, Kine, and Tyrell from the Lived Experience Library. Their stories are enriched with professional insights from Ane Fossum, who currently leads the Crisis Center Secretariat.
The film is produced by The Human Aspect, which has developed 14 knowledge films on different topics. These films form part of the Lived Experience Library, which also includes over 750 lived experience interviews and various digital resources, including the popular podcast Everyday Psychology.
Supported by the Conflict Council, the film aims to enhance the resource library for professionals working on violence in close relationships with a captivating educational film.
