Julia Vari is celebrated for her improvisation skills and her unique way of blending jazz with Mexican and Latin American melodies and rhythms. Her repertoire reflects the diversity and richness of contemporary music. Audiences will be treated to songs from her album with Armando Manzanero (Adoro, 2015) as well as some new pieces.

Julia Vari
Julia Vari is a multilingual and multicultural singer, pianist, and arranger, recognized among the most prominent Latin American jazz artists of our time (George Varga, San Diego Union Tribune). Dubbed “the queen of Mexican jazz,” her talent, energy, originality, and dedication have captivated audiences for over a decade. Julia boasts five solo albums and is known for her expressive voice and elegant piano style. She has also been nominated for the Hollywood Music in Media Awards and has performed in iconic venues such as the Lunario del Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City and the Teatro Real Carlos Aranjuez in Spain.
Currently, Julia lives in Miami and is a proud voting member of the Grammy Recording Academy as well as a BMI composer.
Lucía Rey
Lucía Rey is a Spanish pianist with a distinguished background in classical music. Her training at prestigious institutions and her participation in multiple competitions and festivals have earned her several accolades. Her repertoire includes both classical and contemporary works, showcasing her versatility as a performer.
Alongside her concert activities, Lucía dedicates herself to teaching, sharing her passion for music with students at various levels. Her pedagogical approach encourages creativity and musical interpretation. She collaborates with various orchestras and chamber groups, and has been invited to perform in concerts and festivals in Spain and abroad.
Reinier “El Negrón”
Reinier “El Negrón” is a renowned Cuban musician and bassist, celebrated for his rhythmic and melodic playing style in Cuban popular music, especially in genres such as son, salsa, and jazz. From an early age, he showed a deep interest in music, influenced by Cuba's rich musical landscape.
Throughout his career, “El Negrón” has worked with many artists and groups, participating in numerous recordings and live performances. His talent and dedication have gained him recognition both in Cuba and internationally.
Georvis Pico Milian
Georvis Pico Milian is a renowned Cuban drummer and percussionist, known for his virtuosity and versatility across various musical genres, including Afro-Cuban music, jazz, and pop. Born in Cuba, Georvis began his musical career at a young age, influenced by the country’s rich musical traditions.
During his career, he has collaborated with numerous artists and groups, both in Cuba and abroad. His ability to blend traditional Cuban rhythms with contemporary styles has established him as a prominent figure in the music scene. Georvis is also involved in innovative projects aimed at expanding Cuban music's reach to new audiences.
