TABLE READ CLUB is a global initiative initiated by OPEN TELEVISION (OTV) aimed at promoting short-format scripts from filmmakers of various backgrounds. The process involves table readings followed by audience feedback.
This initiative has been hosted in various cities including London, Chicago, and Guadalajara, and is now being introduced in Johannesburg, South Africa. For a single evening, filmmakers, artists, and industry professionals are welcomed to engage in a reading and networking session that creates a supportive environment for the local audiovisual sector. This edition of Table Read Club is supported by Girls In Film South Africa and MAMAKASHAKA & FRIENDS.
