Week 1: Meal Planning - December 7th
The first session will focus on meal planning, featuring a shopping list tailored to a week’s worth of meals. Participants will learn to prepare a basic tomato sauce applicable to various recipes. During class, they will cook chana masala and receive recipes to try at home, including tomato lentil pasta and chili con carne.
Week 2: Maximising Your Shop - December 14th
The second session will explore creating multiple meals using butternut squash and chickpeas, along with tips on bulk-prepping ingredients. This not only saves energy and time but also reduces costs. Attendees will discover how to prepare a Buddha bowl, featuring plant-based coleslaw and mayo, and will also make an array of snacks and sweet treats that can be enjoyed fresh or stored for later consumption.
