The exhibition “Echoes of Elegance: A Timeless Journey” is on display at the Leica Store Beaumarchais from December 5, 2024, to January 28, 2025.
Milan Swolfs, born in Antwerp, Belgium, on February 13, 1986, is a renowned art photographer whose characteristic style brings the allure of Hollywood's golden age to life. His captivating work embodies the glamour of the 1920s and 1930s, featuring bold and confident portraits of women and men in a delicate and glamorous style. The photographer began his career capturing the most significant burlesque events across Europe and has since evolved his practice into a celebrated portfolio of art photography.
As a Leica Camera ambassador, Milan Swolfs has worked exclusively with Leica cameras since the launch of the Leica M8 in 2006. His photographs have been featured in prestigious publications such as LFI (Leica Fotografie International), Medium Format Magazine, and Viewfinder. He has also closely collaborated with Leica Camera AG on the launch and marketing photos of iconic lenses such as the Leica Thambar and the Leica Noctilux 50mm f1.2. His first solo exhibition, “Light of Seduction,” was showcased at the Leica store in Porto in 2022.
