Acclaimed cookbook author Adeena Sussman is set to return to Toronto to offer insights into Israel following the events of October 7th.
During a discussion with her friend Bonnie Stern, Adeena will provide a unique perspective on Israel's vibrant culinary scene and highlight the remarkable energy, resilience, and creativity exhibited by everyday Israelis, particularly in their efforts to aid those impacted by the events of that day.
With Hanukkah guiding her narrative, Adeena will illustrate how Israel is rising from the tragedy, uncovering light and purpose from despair. The conversation will emphasize the capacity of food to heal, nurture, and unify communities during challenging times, showcasing the collective role everyone can play in this endeavor.
Attendees will have the opportunity to sample appetizers inspired by the themes of the conversation after the program.
