Every Monday, prominent writers, playwrights, and scientists gather to share their insights on topics they have studied extensively. This gathering serves as a great way to kick off the week by hearing from some of the finest minds.
This week, Alejandra Kamiya will present an introductory talk on Japanese literature. Born in Buenos Aires in 1966, she has published a trilogy of short story collections: Los árboles caídos también son el bosque (2015; Eterna Cadencia, 2024), El sol mueve la sombra de las cosas quietas (2019; Eterna Cadencia, 2024), and La paciencia del agua sobre cada piedra (Eterna Cadencia, 2023). Her literary achievements have earned her several prestigious awards, including the Universidad Católica Argentina-SUTERH (2007), the Feria del libro de Buenos Aires (2008), and the Fondo Nacional de las Artes (2009), among others.
