Join us for an insightful gathering that highlights the critical role and significance of Business Continuity Management and Resilience in safeguarding critical infrastructures and executing the Directive regarding the resilience of essential entities in Portugal, sponsored by Galp.

This in-person event will feature presentations from representatives of various organizations, including firms with critical infrastructures, the National Council for Civil Emergency Planning (CNPCE), and the Internal Security System (SSI). There will also be a roundtable discussion that provides a unique chance to explore and clarify these topics, inviting participant engagement.

Opening and Welcome: Nuno Garrido, Director of HSSEQ at Galp, and Daniela Santos, Chair of the BCI Community in Portugal and GCN Specialist at Colt Technologies.

  1. Directive on Resilience of Essential Entities - Context and Importance for the Public and Private Sectors: José Oliveira, Representative of the National Council for Civil Emergency Planning.
  2. Implementation of the Directive on Resilience of Essential Entities in Portugal - Impacts, Challenges, and Processes: Representative from the Internal Security System.
  3. The Contribution of Business Continuity Management to the Implementation of the Directive on Resilience of Essential Entities: Paulo Alberto, Responsible for Security & Business Continuity at E-Redes.
  4. Roundtable: Integration of Business Continuity Management and National Security (CNPCE, E-REDES, Galp, and SSI)
