What is Beach Club? The Island is recognized as the world's first floating beach club, capable of being set up anywhere on Sydney Harbour, designed to mimic the luxurious beach clubs found in Europe, like those in the South of France. Beach Club is a members-only experience hosted every Saturday. How to reach The Island? The Island offers its private water taxi service, transferring guests from Double Bay Wharf to The Island, with the taxi transfer included. Drop-offs from personal boats are accepted but must be arranged in advance, requiring a pre-booked table. For weekend events, water taxi transfers are available from either Man O'War Steps or Double Bay Wharf. Guests can swim at The Island; however, bringing personal swimming attire and towels is necessary. Visitors are free to leave the Island at any time using the water taxi running every 30 minutes back to Double Bay Wharf. Offensive tattoos and those linked to gangs are not permitted. In wet weather, the venue remains open with a fully retractable roof, except in extreme conditions. Unfortunately, guests cannot bring birthday cakes, but the bar team can assist with cocktail celebrations.
