Introducing Àwánilé, a captivating photography exhibition running from December 7th to 14th.


The title Àwánilé, which translates to "It has returned home" in Yoruba, reflects the theme of reconnecting with one's heritage and cultural guardians.


This exhibition explores the dynamic relationship between identities from the continent and the diaspora, manifesting in both personal and communal artistic expressions relevant to contemporary culture. It showcases brand-new works that emphasize the waterways of Lagos and the designs of renowned fashion labels shaping this modern era.


Attendees will enjoy an immersive visual journey, providing them with a distinct opportunity to engage with the essence of the Lagos waterways.


The Opening Night is scheduled for Saturday, December 7th, from 4 PM to 10 PM at the newly established @johnrandlecenter.
