This December, St Anne’s Cathedral welcomes Peter Corry and a selection of talented artists for the festive celebration titled ‘Christmas at the Cathedral 2024’.
Attendees can look forward to traditional Christmas tunes and beloved holiday favorites performed by Peter and his ensemble of outstanding musicians.
While there will be some familiar faces from past performances, each year promises new surprises to enhance the festive experience.
Arco String Quartet
Formed in Belfast in 2003, Arco String Quartet consists of Clare and Richard Hadwen, who met while playing in The Ulster Orchestra. They have since become a prominent part of Northern Ireland's music scene.
Sarah Richmond
Sarah Richmond, a mezzo-soprano from Northern Ireland, has been lauded for her remarkable vocal quality. She was the winner of the 2021 Toronto Mozart Vocal Competition and a finalist in the 2022 Montserrat Caballé Competition.
Recently, she showcased her talents in Vivaldi’s L’Olimpiade during a tour with the Irish National Opera and other esteemed opera houses.
The BSPA Voices
For the past five years, The BSPA Voices have become a cherished part of the Christmas tradition at the Cathedral, led by maestro Ashley Fulton MBE, who will bring festive joy and magical music to the occasion.
Guests can expect to be entertained by a range of beloved holiday classics.
Accessibility options are a priority, with ramps available at the venue, ensuring comfort for all visitors. The Cathedral is equipped with designated seating for wheelchair users, and assistance is available upon request.
To enhance the guest experience, the Cathedral has recently introduced 500 new seats, including 200 cushioned options in Tier 1, ensuring comfort during the performance.
Parking is available nearby with limited on-street options, and guidance can be provided on accessibility upon contacting the venue.
