The presentation takes place during the “Desco 2024” event at the Real Collegio in Lucca.

Participation in this gathering is free.

This is a sensory journey aimed at discovering (or rediscovering) some lesser-known cured meats that the region has to offer.

Attendees will taste:

  • Prosciutto Bazzone from Garfagnana
  • Mondiola from Garfagnana
  • Mortadella from Camaiore
  • Soppressata
  • Biroldo

The event is accessible to everyone, with no age restrictions.

For transportation, it is recommended to arrive by train, as the Real Collegio is approximately 1.3 km from the Lucca railway station, reachable on foot in about 15 minutes through the historic center. There is also a bus service, with the terminal at Piazzale Verdi, which is about 1 km from the Real Collegio.
