Under the direction of Ernesto Insam, the orchestral collective Sous Influences brings together musicians eager to blend various European cultural influences, creating connections between Germany, Italy, Austria, and France.
Composed by Piotr Ilitch Tchaïkovski in 1891, the orchestral suite of The Nutcracker draws inspiration from the German tale The Nutcracker and the Mouse King by Ernst Theodor Amadeus Hoffmann, a family story suitable for audiences of all ages. Its aim is to introduce the orchestra's musical instruments while inviting attendees to immerse themselves in the enchanting atmosphere of an adventure filled with diverse characters during the festive season.
The various characters will be introduced sequentially, and listeners will be encouraged to recognize them throughout a Franco-German narrative. This musical tale will delight the audience and ignite their imagination.
