This gathering aims to present findings from a National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) funded trial investigating an e-cigarette intervention designed to help individuals experiencing homelessness quit smoking (Project SCeTCH).
Professor Linda Bauld from the University of Edinburgh will chair the session, while Martin Dockrell from the Office for Health Disparities and Improvement will serve as a discussant. The project leads, Professor Lynne Dawkins from LSBU and Dr. Sharon Cox from UCL, along with various SCeTCH team members from across the UK, will deliver the presentations.
The discussions will focus on the intervention's overview, highlighting its effectiveness, cost-effectiveness, and relevance to real-world situations.
This gathering is tailored for professionals in the third sector, health care workers, stop-smoking advisors, public health officials, and academics. It is important for attendees to acknowledge that they do not have affiliations with the tobacco industry.
Advance registration is required to ensure participation, as seats are limited.
