This training is aimed at beginners in thermography who are interested in exploring the various applications of the technology, learning to configure and operate a thermal imager, and starting to conduct electrical, mechanical, or other types of inspections/tests. The course covers the basic theory of thermography, guidance on avoiding errors in capturing thermal images and temperature measurement, and teaches how to interpret thermograms and make decisions using concepts of heat transfer and radiation theory. Participants will also learn how to use image processing software and create reports to document anomalies found during inspections/tests. This training complies with the Abendi NA-009 Standards and ISO 18436-7 and meets the Recommended Practice SN-TC-1A of ASNT.
