Negotiation is about achieving mutual success. It is an approach that emphasizes active listening, cooperation, and emotional intelligence, standing in contrast to conflict. Effective negotiation requires a clear understanding of both one's own and the counterpart's objectives to reach mutually beneficial decisions.
This course will cover effective communication strategies, goal setting, and conflict management. Participants will explore communication models to enhance dialogue with themselves and others. The focus will also be on identifying traps to avoid and the stages of reaching a strong agreement. Consideration will be given to strategies to employ when negotiational power is limited and when it is better to compromise or walk away from negotiations.
The in-person session will take place at the Google Italia offices in Milan on Thursday, December 5 from 6:30 PM to 8:45 PM with instructor Marta Pettolino Valfrè, as part of the Women Will - Negotiation program.
They look forward to seeing you there!
Note:
Entry is not guaranteed after 7:00 PM as the session will have started, and disturbances should be avoided :)
