The Italian premiere of Cabaret Artico - Let's Play with the Climate will take place on December 6th at Fonderie Limone in Moncalieri.
This performance is part of the Green Ethics initiative, which aims to raise environmental awareness through the medium of theatre. "Cabaret Artico" is the first in a series of performances designed to engage and inform European communities about climate change using the power of the performing arts.
The show at Fonderie Limone introduces a unique format that blends theatre with gameplay dynamics. It features two actors, three musicians, and 45 local participants, along with 25 interactive stations that will guide attendees through information, best practices, and exemplary models inspired by the European Green Deal. The audience will be divided into two teams, actively participating in scenes to test their creativity and teamwork.
Community engagement will begin in November with three workshops inviting the local populace to take part in the production of the show. The first workshop, aimed at young adults under 35, will use theatre to explore the theme of active participation. The second, geared toward cycling enthusiasts and advocates of sustainable mobility, will delve into the connections between art, cycling, and environmental sustainability. Lastly, the third workshop, led by international artists, will explore the expressive potential of voice and choral singing. These workshops, comprising five sessions, will culminate in the collective creation of a scene for the show.
