The renowned sitarist “Sur-Moni” Deepsankar, hailing from a prestigious musical lineage, will lead the evening. As an expert in the JAFFERKHANI BAAJ style, which was pioneered by Ustad Abdul Halim Jaffer Khan, Deepsankar has gained recognition through his performances across various countries, including the United States and several European nations. He is an esteemed "A-GRADE" sitarist from All India Radio and has garnered numerous accolades including gold medals from eminent organizations worldwide.
He will be joined by the talented tabla player Shri Abhirup Roy, adding to the richness of the musical presentation.
