Resuscitation Wizardry: Making Things Happen Two Day Event

Info

Resuscitation Wizardry: Emergency Department Training Seminar

This two-day seminar focuses on case-based discussions addressing best practices in areas such as airway management, ventilation, shock management, hemodynamic support, neuroprotection, sepsis, trauma, and hemorrhage. For the first time, the seminar incorporates substantial content on leadership, communication, and human factors.

Participants can access the course program.

This is a mandatory IN-PERSON, TWO-DAY seminar. Attendance on both days is required, and no refunds will be processed for partial attendance.

After nearly two decades of teaching essential skills for emergency medicine and intensive care, Dr. Cliff Reid has expanded his program to two days. This allows for an in-depth examination of both clinical and non-technical aspects of emergency healthcare, emphasizing not only the actions to take but also strategies for effecting change within challenging systems.

Dr. Cliff Reid, an experienced emergency physician and resuscitation lead at Northern Beaches Hospital in Sydney, is noted for his expertise in prehospital and retrieval medicine with Sydney HEMS. Having served as Director of Training for a decade, he now focuses on critical areas such as prehospital cardiac arrest and ECMO. He also acts as a consultant in intensive care at Dubbo Base Hospital, where he spearheads quality initiatives in critical care airway management.
