On Saturday, December 7, 2024, Leuven will host the second edition of the Piano Composer Festival. Three esteemed pianist-composers from Ghent, Matthias De Jaeger, Pieter Savenberg, and Mattias Devriendt, will act as curators and performers for this unique occasion. During a collaborative concert, they will each interpret their most beautiful works, promising an extraordinary partnership and a mesmerizing musical journey.


The three pianist-composers share one thing in common: they create accessible contemporary classical music that evokes immediate dreams. Together, they have amassed almost 100 million streams on Spotify. Despite this shared achievement, each composer boasts a distinct style, as outlined below:
