The legendary Bacalar lagoon and the ancestral Mayan guardians of knowledge welcome the global community to celebrate the Winter Solstice in awareness, peace, and harmony. AWA·KIN is a festival brought to life by vibrant hearts aiming to manifest a dream for many; a life in communion with our planet and all its inhabitants.

Participants can enjoy yoga workshops, meditation, live music, organic food, and more. This festival fosters a celebration of life, community, and harmony with nature, created with love, vision, and dedication by the Bacalar community.

The first Conscious Festival is hosted by Cayuco Maya, an Eco-Touristic development with rich history by the lagoon.

This space is simply magical; it has been the site of numerous cultural and ceremonial gatherings in Bacalar's modern history.

The venue is situated at a prime location facing the northern side of the lagoon, inviting celebration with awareness and care.
