December is a festive month for many, often accompanied by delightful food. For those seeking affordable and easy ideas for a festive Christmas dinner, there is an engaging workshop with chef Perry de Man. Participants will embark on a market adventure to curate their Christmas menu.
This is what participants will do:
Part 1: Market Visit
Perry will guide participants through the market at Binnenrotte, sharing tips on selecting delicious and healthy ingredients for a truly festive meal. Participants will gather plenty of ideas for their Christmas menu, utilizing accessible and budget-friendly products commonly found at the market.
Part 2: Cooking Together
After exploring the market, the group will return to the warmth and coziness of the library. Here, they will develop their ideas into a (vegetarian) three-course menu. Perry will assist in preparing the ingredients and suggest additional elements like oils, herbs, and spices to enhance the flavors. He will also provide advice on minimizing waste by making full use of all ingredients.
Participants will leave with a cookbook filled with recipes they can recreate at home, especially during the holiday season!
