Organizers extend an invitation for participation in Re/Awakening Dignity: a Conference for All taking place in Colombo, Sri Lanka from July 8-10.
This conference aims to create a space for an international community to reflect on, share, and explore the concept of dignity. An intimate setting is envisioned where individuals from various backgrounds will interact through multiple avenues, including informal discussions over meals, follow-up dialogues after presentations, neighborhood walk-and-talks, and artistic interpretations centered on dignity.

Hosted at the International Centre of Ethnic Studies in Colombo, the conference will facilitate essential dialogues focused on creating inclusive and peaceful societies.
A diverse array of participants is anticipated to contribute their personal experiences, actions, ideas, research, and art. Everyone is welcome, regardless of their formal association to the theme; inclusivity is a core principle of this gathering. Anyone interested in the theme is encouraged to attend. Those wishing to submit proposals are invited to do so promptly. Additionally, individuals without proposals but eager to engage in discussions are assured their involvement is valued. Registration options are available, with financial assistance provided through bursaries for participants from the Global South. The registration process will remain open until one month before the conference, or until maximum registration is reached, which is limited to 70 attendees.
