9th Symposium of Slovenian Researchers Abroad
The VTIS Society, in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, is organizing the 9th Symposium of Slovenian Researchers Abroad. The event partners include Novartis Slovenia and Lek, part of the Sandoz group.
This is a multidisciplinary conference aimed at establishing and strengthening connections between Slovenian researchers abroad and professors, researchers, and students in Slovenia, with a long-term goal of project collaboration and sharing good practices.
At each thematic panel, distinguished Slovenian researchers will present their work. Panels will be chaired by researchers and professors from universities and research institutes in Slovenia.
The symposium will be held on Wednesday and Thursday, December 18 and 19, 2024, in a hybrid format - live in Ljubljana (at MVZI, Masarykova cesta 16, Ljubljana) and via the ZOOM platform.

EVENT PROGRAM
This year's symposium will highlight current topics in the fields of human-computer interaction, globalization and migration, sustainable development, and innovation in biotechnology. Special attention will also be devoted to a round table titled A New Signpost for the EU Research Space (ERA), which will discuss the future and challenges of European research policy.
