Join the Startup Refugees DEI & Glögi Evening on December 4, 2024, at 15:30 in Kulttuuritalo, where members can engage in discussions about fostering a diverse workplace while enjoying delightful food and drinks in a welcoming atmosphere!
The event will feature an opening by Shawn Huff, a former captain of Susijengi, a public speaker, and a city council member. Salla from Startup Refugees will conduct an interview with Joel Kinnunen, the Talent Acquisition Manager at Vaisala, alongside Mark Ilchenko, a Calibration Coordinator from Vaisala. They will explore the development of diverse teams and the importance of belonging within the workplace. Additionally, attendees will hear inspiring anecdotes from international professionals who have thrived in Finland through creativity and entrepreneurship.
Guests will have opportunities to purchase unique Christmas gifts from newcomer entrepreneurs, including delightful Ukrainian gingerbread, and enjoy beverages from Fat Lizard, as well as a musical performance by Yelizaveta Babina. The event will also provide a relaxed atmosphere for networking, combined with delicious food and glögi!
