GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE SEMINAR
The design, installation, and optimization of sound reinforcement systems involve various compromises. Structural constraints of the venue, limitations from other presentation technologies, available equipment, and client requests can pose challenges even for experienced professionals. This seminar provides frameworks and methods for making well-informed compromises in real-life sound reinforcement systems for both events and fixed installations.
Participants will explore the design, optimization, and use of different types and sizes of speaker systems. Example setups will range from two speakers to over five hundred, encompassing a wide range of applications from sound evacuation systems to large concert setups.
All supplementary materials presented at the seminar will be in English, while the instruction will be delivered in Finnish.
TRAINER
The seminar will be led by Ville Kauhanen, who brings nearly thirty years of unique experience from over fifty countries at the forefront of sound reinforcement. In recent years, he has mainly worked with top audio rental companies such as Clair Global and Solotech Group. For the past two years, Kauhanen has been responsible for the design and optimization of the speaker system on Taylor Swift's "The Eras" tour.
Working with demanding international clients ensures that expertise and working methods are continuously developed. These respected frameworks and methods are now available to learn in an open setting for everyone.
