About Verónica Salgado
Hailing from Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico, Verónica Salgado studied Administration and is a devoted dog lover. Driven by the desire to change perceptions regarding the many street dogs, she wrote her first book, "Eliot: A Street Dog," in 2017. Since then, she has been actively sharing Eliot's story in schools, festivals, and book fairs in Ensenada, Tijuana, San Diego, and Los Angeles, as well as at the Casa de la Cultura Ensenada and the Tijuana Book Fair. Three years later, she released a second edition of the book, which achieved bestseller status on Amazon across three categories, thanks to the support of her followers on social media and new readers. Currently, she is working on translating the book into English and developing new children’s stories to be published soon.
