As a teenager, Myrddin discovered the richness and originality of flamenco guitar. His technical skill, sense of experimentation, and deep lyrical sensitivity merge to create a unique musical world.
This talent is now expressed once again in partnership with Myrddin's daughter, Imre, who received her first cello at the age of four. In 2018, she made her debut alongside her father at the Gent Jazz Festival.
Through the performance Swallow, they take the audience on a journey that originates from Myrddin's original compositions. Imre understands and feels her father's music like no one else, complementing him in a sensitive and soothing manner. It is a perfect blend of sharpness and softness, hardness and gentleness.
Myrddin: "Imagine being able to play music together with such ease, joy, rhythm, and harmony as the swallows soar through the air. It is a lifelong dream to realize something this beautiful."
