Heren Wolf is a singer-songwriter known for his chamber-pop music, bridging England and Italy. He has been nominated for the Premio Assante 2024 by producer Stefano Bonagura, who serves as a musical consultant for the ReWriters fest. Heren's music features cinematic soundscapes and an emotive voice, with lyrics that delve deeply into personal reflections. His work addresses not only personal issues but also socio-political themes, including LGBTQIA+ rights, migrant issues, transfeminism, and racism. Since 2018, he has performed at various venues and festivals across England, including The Social, St Pancras Old Church, Kite Festival, and Folkstone Pride, as well as in Austria. In 2022, he was selected as one of the 8 finalists in the Music For Change competition, participating in an artistic residency at Bocs Art in Cosenza. Heren actively collaborates with the Citizens of The World choirs, mainly composed of refugees, asylum seekers, and migrants, as well as London Contemporary Voices. He has shared the stage with renowned artists such as Emili Sande, Ian Shaw, Amber Run, Basement Jaxx, Elena Tonra, and Orlando Weeks, among others. Currently, he is working on his first album in Italian and a musical project that tells the stories of refugees in collaboration with Syrian, Senegalese, and second-generation writers, artists, and musicians.
