The PowerShell Fundamentals course is designed for individuals seeking to incorporate PowerShell into their everyday tasks. Over a span of three days, participants will explore a range of topics, starting from executing basic PowerShell commands to embarking on scripting basics.
This course caters to those new to PowerShell as well as individuals with some experience who wish to deepen their understanding of the language's underlying structure.
Course Topics Include:
- PowerShell commands utilizing Verb, Noun, and Parameters
- Locating appropriate commands
- Understanding Input and Output through the concept of Objects
- An introduction to the .NET framework, including types, members, properties, and methods
- Pipelines and their use
- Utilizing Variables to retain information across commands
- Working with Strings and text manipulation in PowerShell
- Implementing logical flows in scripts, including conditions and loops
- Exploring common tools
- Beginning with version control
- Troubleshooting techniques
- Best practices in scripting
- Utilizing Parameters effectively
This course focuses on PowerShell 7, although earlier versions (such as 5.1) can also be applied. Participants are encouraged to bring their own laptops and any relevant challenges, scripts, or solutions they would like to review during the sessions.
The course will be conducted in Swedish.
